hi there,

hope this email finds you well and you're enjoying the beginning of the holiday season... ...

it's time for news

I am really excited to announce I am starting to curate a new music series for two pianos

Brooklyn Music For Two Pianos Concert Series.1 starts tomorrow night!!! !!

I am pleased and thrilled to have pianist and multi instrumentalist Shoko Nagai joining me to begin and inaugurate the series starting at 8:30pm tomorrow. I will be curating this at iBeammonthly or every other month... so please stay tuned as the second concert is already scheduled later in January 2019.

-big thanks to Brian Drye at iBeam for accepting the challenge and kindly supporting my initiative from the start. a project which is finally happening after months of introspective piano brainstorming... and which special set up is keeping me very excited-.

also, I am happy to share recent news that DownBeat Magazine has listed my last album, Live At iBeam by Ditmas Quartet released back in the summer on Fresh Sound New Talent, within the Best Albums of 2018!!!

finally, I will be going into the studio with my Trio in late January at Oktaven studios in Fordham, NY. I am thrilled to make it happen and record new music I am currently writing. I am making this recording with Drew Gress on bass and Devin Gray on drums. Jeremy Loucas will be in charge of the sound again this time. It happens to be my next and second trio recording in the last 8 years, as my debut album was also a Trio album. This to say I feel really excited and fortunate to have this incredible rhythm section with me.
